We are on the hunt for a hands-on, people-loving cafe leader to help lead the day-to-day life of our busy Cotswolds café. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building a strong team around them, and takes pride in creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere for every guest — whether they arrive in walking boots or with a muddy dog in tow.
The Role
You will work closely with the Café Manager to keep everything running as it should from the morning rush to the last tables of the day. You will be trusted to take the lead on shift, set the tone for the team, and make sure standards never slip.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading shifts and being the go-to person on the floor
- Encouraging and developing the front-of-house team
- Maintaining excellent service standards at all times
- Supporting staff training and onboarding
- Managing stock levels and placing orders with suppliers
- Upholding food safety, cleanliness and health & safety procedures
- Stepping in wherever needed during busy periods
