Established in 1913 in the heart of Rothbury, The Old Motor House is not your standard garage. We handle everything from everyday modern runabouts like Vauxhall Corsas to classic cars and Rolls-Royces—covering routine maintenance, full engine/gearbox rebuilds, auto-electrics, and custom restorations.
*The Role*
We are looking for a motivated technician capable of working independently and as part of a close-knit team. You will:
* Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair a wide variety of modern and classic vehicles to high standards. * Conduct MOT tests (if certified) and complete required documentation. * Problem-solve complex or non-standard mechanical and electrical faults. * Ensure all customer vehicles are handled with extreme care and respect.

Pay: From £18.00 per hour
Experience: * Mechanic experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: * City & Guilds Automotive (preferred) * driving license (preferred)
