We are looking to recruit a Head Chef for the Old Hall Hotel. The Head Chef will work alongside kitchen brigade to creative dishes to delight our guests, build a reputation for outstanding food and support the managing of the kitchen brigade and report to the Executive Chef., * To maintain exceptional high standards of food for the Restaurants & all events

Costing and drawing up new menus for the restaurants & events, to keep records of spec and photograph for kitchen SOP manual

To ensure all Hotel and EHO food hygiene compliance is adhered to maintain a food hygiene rating of 5.

To ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the department

Manage the kitchen brigade adjusting payroll cost in response to business levels and Controlling operating costs

To place food orders in agreement with Company policy.

To ensure food is not given to anybody unless a check or docket has been supplied

To use all kitchen equipment for its proper purpose at all times

To assist in kitchen preparation to support the team

To work quickly and calmly whilst promoting good working relations within the kitchen.

Communicating with the team regarding the day’s business

To participate in the development and implementation of business strategies for the Kitchen that are aligned with the hotel’s overall mission, vision, and values

Extensive management experience of working in a busy kitchen

Experience of managing a Hotel kitchen, preferable
