Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member:
- Assisting with food preparation.
- Producing high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
- Ensuring the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
- Offering suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
- Working with the team to achieve company targets.

We tailor to our diverse range of guests, and our teams create the perfect place to socialise with friends, whether that be for Bottomless Brunch, sport or to join us for a great night out.
Located in Newcastle upon Tyne city centre, The Old George Inn is a diverse pub known to locals as a hidden gem. Set in a cobbled courtyard and established in 1582, the building oozes charm with its sash windows and beamed ceilings. Our guests come from all over to experience the nostalgia and history but mostly, to experience some of the delights that King Charles must have had in this great atmosphere, a pint, good food and some good conversation with some of the locals.
We offer a range of great entertainment to suit a vast audience. We host Open Mic nights which are guaranteed to showcase some great live music from some of the best talent from around Newcastle. On the weekend, we have DJs bringing the party for our guests till late. We show live sport every day, with the full BT and Sky Sports packages for those early Saturday games and both 'Racing UK' and 'At The Races'.
