Old Fountain near Old Street is looking for a motivated and outgoing personality to support the GM in the day-to-day running of this busy and friendly pub.

About Us: Located just a 2-minute walk from Old St station, the pub comprises a bar/restaurant on the ground floor with a sunny roof terrace upstairs (functional year-round with umbrellas and heaters). We serve a selection of real ales alongside 20 taps with an impressive wine and spirit selection too. Food is currently served Tue-Sun with amazing Sunday Roasts.

What we are looking for in an Assistant Manager:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced working environment
  • Passion for customer service and teamwork
  • Interest in food and drink (craft beer especially but not essential)
  • Knowledge of cellar management (qualifications preferred not essential)
  • Fantastic customer rapport
  • Complete competence of running shifts & leading a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Social media skills would be a bonus

Hours of Work: Working week is 42 hours over 5 days with potential for more if needed. Good holiday built through accruement of hours.
