We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at The Old Forge Day Nursery in Findern, Derbyshire.
About the Nursery
Set in a beautiful 19th-century beamed building with a large garden and Forest School, The Old Forge Day Nursery cares for up to 100 children daily, aged 0–4 years. Our nursery is a busy, happy place — and a clean, safe environment is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
We are seeking someone with high cleaning standards, great attention to detail, and a friendly, team-focused approach. As some of your working hours will be while the nursery is open, you must feel comfortable engaging with both staff and children.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out daily cleaning duties across the nursery
- Laundry responsibilities
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and stocks
- Reporting repairs or maintenance issues
- Helping to ensure the nursery is always safe, clean, and welcoming
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 10:00am, 20 hours per week
This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
