About the Role
Our award-winning Food and Beverage team are at the hub of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bartender to join our Road Hole Bar overlooking the Old Course. The Road Hole Bar has whisky enthusiasts flock from around the world to sample some of the three hundred whiskies we stock from all over Scotland. The bar also has an excellent selection of cocktails, champagnes and wines for our guests to enjoy.
You will be primarily ensuring the smooth running of the bar whilst creating exquisite cocktails and serving drinks to order, supporting the Food and Beverage team within the Road Hole Bar allowing them to focus on providing the world class service that our guests expect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mixing and presenting a wide variety of cocktails, including classic recipes and original creations with precise measurements and attention to detail.
- Providing knowledgeable drink recommendations based off guest preferences.
- Providing exceptional customer service to all guests in line with AA 5 red star standards.
- Fulfilling drink orders accurately and promptly.
- Keeping the bar area and glass wear clean and regularly stocked.
- Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends.
- Working with the Bar Manager to create new exciting options for our cocktail menu.
To be successful in this role you will have the following qualities and experience:
- Previous bar / mixology experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge and understanding of beverages, cocktails and bar operations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Mixology qualification would be highly desirable but not essential.
