Duties and responsibilities
- Serve drinks and refreshments to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies and ensure all beverages are prepared to quality standards
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adhere to licensing laws
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any queries or concerns promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Experience and qualifications
