We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that both staff and guests experience exceptional service. Duties

  • Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Supervise and lead kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and culinary tasks.
  • Help train new employees on operational procedures and standards.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and enhance guest experiences.
  • Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies for food preparation.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
  • Assist in scheduling staff shifts to optimise service during peak times.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or culinary industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of effective team management and supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
