Procurement Manager in Cornwall

Location: Remote / Home based The role OPA are looking to appoint an additional Procurement Manager, preferably based near to our Head Office in Gosport, Hampshire, or our OFD (Oil Fuel Depot) at Thanckes, Torpoint, Cornwall, or Garelochhead, Helensburgh, Argyll terms, negotiation and award. The candidate: You should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior role in public procurement, preferably in a high hazardous regulated industry, hold MCIPS, GCF ADC commercial qualification, or equivalent, and able to demonstrate extensive working knowledge of the Public Procurement Regulations 2023. You will have a strong understanding of contract terms to support the managing of end-to-end procurement process, able to demonstrate effective interpersonal and organisational skills. Be able to identify the commercial risks and contribute to mitigating and managing those risks and demonstrate auditing techniques. You will need to possess strong effective IT skills, particularly MS Office, and experience of finance and procurement software packages.
