The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE physiatrist for an outpatient position with unlimited potential for growth. The ideal candidate would be proficient in electrodiagnostic medicine as well as skilled in musculoskeletal medicine including ultrasound guided peripheral interventions. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Outpatient services are provided at our west campus Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care Center and our Comprehensive Spine Center located at Outpatient Carepoint East and Outpatient Care Dublin. Our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department is ranked #1 in Columbus and #37 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform electrodiagnostic (EMG) procedures and provide a comprehensive evaluation of patients for musculoskeletal complaints.
- Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits.
- Participate in committees, conferences, and represent OSU at professional meetings and community speaking engagements.
- Practice within the established Medical Center standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols).
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an accredited PM&R Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R
- Additional EMG Board Eligible and/or Certified Preferred
- Eligible for an Ohio Medical License
Faculty Defined
- Clinical faculty - Persons with titles of assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical and professor-clinical. These faculty will have earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Clinical faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of three to five years.
- Tenure-Track faculty - Persons with the titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure. Their primary career focus centers on research, service, and teaching.
- Research Faculty - Persons with the titles of research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor. Research faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of one to five years.
