Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time
Core Hours: Three to four days per week: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
(Exact days to be agreed during interview and offer process)
Salary: £25-30,000 per annum, pro-rated – DOE
Other Payments: Overtime for events, plus travel covered for these, discretionary bonus depending on performance may be provided annually
Benefits: Private healthcare and contributory pension 22 days holiday, pro-rated plus Bank Holidays
Location: Hybrid working with a requirement to work from the CEO’s home office in Essex and attend events where possible to ensure set up and smooth running.

The Role
This is a key role for the business ensuring effective support of the running of the company, our databases and systems as well as the development and support to our Members, Partners and clients. This is a brand-new role with a multitude of responsibilities and areas of the business to get involved in with a real opportunity to make a difference in how we continue to grow and increase our presence in this space.
We are looking for someone who wants to get their hands on various different responsibilities and who can grow with us during this exciting time at the company.The role may be suitable for someone with administrative/assistant experience, who has organised events previously and having had a hand to office management would be advantageous in order that they can easily understand our business model and also potentially, directly support clients in the future. Experience in customer service and / or sales would be beneficial.
About You
What we’re looking for: The successful candidate will have plenty of common sense, a true “can do” attitude and be able to take full ownership of tasks, projects and the role at hand. They will be responsible, have excellent communication skills and be exceptionally organised, and have an aspiration to grow with the business.

·Solid administrator 2+ years minimum
·People person (in order to liaise with potential clients, business partners and Members at events)
Responsibilities:
·Administering our key databases and systems including the CRM system, the Portal and our shared drive – updating and adding information to both, exporting and importing data as required, data audits and ad-hoc requirements with both
·Managing the central inbox and requirements on your working days, covering password resets, queries, upgrades and potential business development opportunities
·Business development calls to engage with leads and active Members – conversion tracking and sales opportunity follow-ups
·Answering calls via our cloud-based solution and taking messages or dealing with queries as needed
·Payment administration and Member audits
·Inputting content into the Portal and updating existing content
·Working with the developers of the Portal to support any issues, bugs or upgrades
·Event management and support for all events including the Conference, Show and Awards
·Raising invoices using Xero for clients, partner suppliers
·Expenses input and management using Xero accounting software
·Occasional diary management for the CEO
·Other administrative and support duties as required depending on upcoming events, requirements and demand e.g. administering the Awards, ordering trophies, creating Canva drafts for programmes, rolling screen presentations.
