We are looking for a People and Business Support Manager to enable the Octagon to run smoothly with and for everyone who works here. You will be proactive, efficient and care about delivering great service to people and teams in a busy, values-driven, creative environment. This role has responsibility for people/HR processes, management of IT services and support, and data collection and reporting for decision making.
This is a wide-ranging role that requires previous experience in either business or HR administration. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and office skills and a proactive attitude. You’ll be both a people person – who works well with others and finds solutions; and a process person – who is thorough, consistent, pays attention to detail and able to establish processes for others. You’ll be a capable IT user and organiser, who can liaise with support providers and ensure staff have the right equipment, training and access. Further training in people/HR support can be provided for the right candidate.
Our ideal candidate will be an HR and business support specialist who will:
- Provide effective People/HR administration for every step of the employee journey from ‘hire to retire’.
- Manage IT service provision and systems, working with external providers to maintain and improve our capabilities.
- Manage organisational data and information, ensuring accurate and timely reporting that supports decision making.
