As we scale our existing portfolio and prepare to launch an exciting slate of new free and premium products, we are looking for a sharp, organised, and data‑minded Assistant Newsletter Editor to join our team.
About The Role
As the Assistant Newsletter Editor, you will play a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day execution and long‑term strategy of our newsletter ecosystem. Working closely with the Newsletter Lead, you will handle the production and delivery of our current campaigns while helping shape the launch plans for upcoming products. This is a fast‑paced role that sits at the intersection of editorial excellence, audience engagement, and commercial collaboration.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sub‑editing and fact‑checking newsletter copy
- Regular newsletter production, editing and delivery
- Data analysis on newsletter performance
- Working accurately under tight deadlines
- Collaboration with senior editors on campaigns
- Management of sponsorships and promotions, in close collaboration with commercial teams
Key skills and experience include
- 3+ years of content editing experience, including sub‑editing
- Prior experience with production CMSs and newsletter editing software, ideally DotDigital
- A strong news‑sense, with the ability to follow the day‑to‑day news agenda to inform newsletter strategy
- Confidence to manage editors and contributors to ensure strict deadlines are met
- A data‑driven mindset, with the creativity to understand what drives engagement and growth
