The Assistant Night Manager at Oatlands Park Hotel is responsible for delivering a friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring that every interaction reflects the hotel's vision and values. The role involves supporting the smooth operation of the hotel throughout the night by ensuring all meeting rooms are set up correctly, checking the restaurant, and maintaining the safety and security of the hotel, its guests, and its employees.
This role is advertised at 40 hours of work per week, working 5 days per week on a shift rota basis between 11:45pm and 07:15am.

Main Responsibilities:- Delivering a friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all guests
- Handling guest requests and enquiries professionally and courteously
- Transferring incoming telephone calls promptly to the appropriate department
- Ensuring all meeting rooms are set up correctly in accordance with function sheets
- Completing regular fire walks in accordance with hotel procedures
- Carrying out the night audit accurately and on time
- Maintaining the safety and security of the hotel, its guests, and its employees
- Deputising for the Night Manager and acting as Duty Manager in their absence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational, administrative, and computer skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of the Opera Property Management System (PMS)
Hospitality qualification or working towards would be desirable.
