The Oak Tree Nursery in Whitchurch, Hampshire RG28 7EB is set in a beautiful rural location, with views over acres of farm land which the children, and parents, enjoy looking at! The nursery has very large gardens, and we are big believers in learning in the outdoors. We also offer Forest to all the children, which the staff are also heavily involved with.

The nursery is set within close proximity of the A34, and within 5 minutes walking distance to the train station. There are also frequent bus routes to/from Whitchurch to surrounding areas.

Whitchurch is a beautiful small town on the Berkshire/Hampshire border and is perfectly situated centrally 20 mins drive from Newbury, Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester.

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic and caring individuals who enjoy getting stuck in come rain or shine and being part of our busy, ever-growing team for 38 hours per week (over 4 days, having 1 day off a week).

*Purpose and Responsibilities of the role*

To provide the highest level of care and learning opportunities for children in your care;

· Support and extend the individual needs and interests of the children in your care.

· Ensure the well-being, health and safety of the children in your care.

· Follow the EYFS Framework and develop engaging learning opportunities.

· Promote and meet all the physical, emotional, social and developmental needs of the children in your care.

· Ensure company policy and practices are carried out at all times.

*Key skills / requirements*

· L3 childcare qualification.

. Sound knowledge of the EYFS.

· Caring, self-motivated and reliable.

· Great at communicating and building relationships with children and their families.

· Love of the outdoors.

Pay: £13.75 per hour
