What Will You Be Doing?
As an HGV Apprentice Driver, you will begin your journey towards becoming a fully qualified Class 2 Driver while gaining practical experience within our operations. During your apprenticeship, you will initially operate a company van while developing your knowledge and completing your formal HGV training. You will be responsible for:
- Driving a company van to support operational collections and deliveries
- Assisting experienced HGV drivers on routes to gain hands-on experience
- Learning how to safely operate HGV vehicles in line with legal requirements
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects
- Following all health and safety and road safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points
- Working towards achieving your HGV licence and CPC qualification
This role combines structured training with real operational experience, preparing you to transition into a fully qualified HGV Driver position upon successful completion of the programme.
What Are We Looking For?
