The Role

We are now looking for an HR Manager to take a key role in our UK operations. The role is based in Camberley and frequent travel across UK to our different sites on a need basis is expected. As HR Manager you will be the go-to person for all HR-related topics across the UK business from keeping our systems accurate and our processes running smoothly, to being the trusted advisor that managers and employees turn to. You will play a key role when we acquire new businesses, guiding teams and keeping things on track in our fast-paced environment. You adapt quickly to change and make sure our HR practices stay consistent and compliant across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping our HR system accurate and up to date
  • Onboarding for new joiners
  • Recruitments
  • Advising UK managers on employment law and employee relations
  • Drafting and managing contracts for both white-collar and blue-collar employees, making sure they reflect our actual needs and stay legally compliant
  • Driving the annual appraisal process and completions
  • Making sure employee surveys get filled in on time and following up where needed
  • Partnering with central HR to identify and execute training needs

Your profile:

  • Solid experience in an HR generalist or HR manager role, ideally in a business with both office-based and operational/blue-collar workforce
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • You are self-driven and comfortable making decisions independently, without needing someone looking over your shoulder
  • Experience with HR systems and solid attention to detail when it comes to data
  • A team player who doesn't shy away from rolling up the sleeves when needed
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
