We are now looking for a person to lead commercial Finance for UK. In this role, you will combine Business Control responsibilities with a strong business partner mandate for the region. You will be the primary finance partner to the VP operations UK while also working very closely with the Group CFO and the VP of Group Business Control. This role is part of the Finance as well as the UK Management Team and will be central in driving profitability through analysis and execution, supporting strategic decisions, and preparing the region for future growth and potential exit scenarios for the TNC group.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and execute EBITDA margin improvement through analysis, negotiations, cost optimization, and efficiency initiatives in close collaboration with the Group VP of Business control and the VP operations UK.
- Lead business control activities in the region, including cost control, forecasting and budgeting.
- Together with the Regional Head of Financial Control, ensure robust and accurate financial reporting and ensure post‑deal performance of newly acquired businesses within the region.
- Act as a “safe pair of hands”.
Your Profile
- Background from consulting eg Roland Berger, Oliver Wyman, Alix Partners and Alvarez & Marsal or FP&A.
- Experience in fast‑growing, international environments, ideally within FMCG or PE‑backed companies.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with proven EBITDA margin improvement in prior roles.
- Self‑driven, results‑focused, and action‑oriented.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work at both executive and operational levels.
- Fluent in English. Additional languages eg German is a plus.
