The role:

We are now looking for a Manager in our Strategic Project team to take a key role in our expansion journey across the UK. You will report to the VP Operations UK. The role is based in Camberley and frequent travel across the UK to our different sites on a need basis is expected.

As Manager in our Strategic Projects team at The Nutriment Company, you will be responsible for independently driving projects on all levels within the Nutriment Company organization, from projects initiated by central management and the board to being directly involved in projects with our many local brands.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Independently drive a variety of strategic projects across the UK; for example:
  • Optimize gross margins through group pricing and product mix shift initiatives
  • Lead and drive operational projects.
  • Develop a UK category management strategy to drive product innovation and decisions across our different brands
  • Develop a breeder-program to drive brand choice
  • Develop and execute on our indirect sales strategy and lead the expansion of The Nutriment Company in the UK
  • Assess our production and warehouse footprint and create tangible recommendations to optimize
  • Support in the assessment and negotiation of UK sourcing agreements
  • Ensure exit readiness and UK compliance
  • Improve end-to-end customer experience across our brand portfolio
  • Work closely with and present key recommendations to executive management
  • Prepare and lead workshops at Managing Director meetings or in the UK

This is a critical role to drive value creation and over time there will be opportunities to rotate into commercial or operational leadership roles in one of our business units.

Your profile:

You will be a key player in our team, driving forward the most critical strategic projects with a high exposure to executive management. As such we are looking for the following profile:

  • 3+ years of previous experience at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain (MBB) or an equivalent top-tier consulting firm.
  • You are driven, structured, and have a proven ability to deliver results independently
  • You have experience from working and communicating with executive stakeholders
  • You are a team player with a strategic mind who does not shy away from taking on operational tasks and supporting your peers outside of your direct responsibilities
  • You are curious and have a desire to continuously learn
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English
