The role:
We are looking for a hands-on Junior Buyer to take ownership of stock control and procurement at our site in Camberley. This is a key role sitting right at the heart of our supply chain, keeping raw materials, packaging, and finished products available so we can always deliver a premium experience to our customers.
You will work closely with the buying team, using sales forecasts and stock data to drive production planning and place supplier orders. Over time, you will grow into full commercial responsibility for packaging procurement, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and pushing for better margins. If you are someone who likes to own their patch, solve problems before they escalate, and move fast without cutting corners, this role is for you.
Key responsibilities
- Manage stock control of raw materials, packaging, and finished products across our sites.
- Use sales forecasts and stock data to build weekly production requirements and place supplier orders.
- Ensure all delivered stock is accurately booked into the relevant systems.
- Liaise with Finance to keep supplier orders and pricing administration clean and accurate.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance against agreed KPIs.
- Support the buying team in preparing for tenders and contract negotiations.
- Take on commercial ownership of packaging procurement, including supplier negotiations, contract management, and margin optimization.
- Source and approve alternative suppliers and packaging where needed.
- Work toward ≥98% on-time, in-full raw material delivery and a maximum of 3 finished products out of stock at any one time.
Required qualifications
- Experience in stock control, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Comfortable working with sales data and forecasts to inform procurement decisions.
- Strong attention to detail, especially around purchase orders, stock booking, and pricing admin.
- Good communicator who can hold their own in direct, fast-moving conversations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage 500 or Shopify is a plus.
What we offer
- A real role with genuine ownership from day one.
- Clear development path into commercial buying responsibilities.
- Being part of a high-growth, entrepreneurial and fast growing company.
- Competitive salary and benefits.
