The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for continuous improvement, empowering colleagues across the business to lead on their own small-scale changes, and lead on larger projects and reviews to seek ways to improve efficiency and reduce errors. They will be working closely with leaders in operational teams to fully understand the scale of the work and ensure alignment on what is needed and the best way to approach that change for all stakeholders involved.
You will use data-driven insights to provide a clear rationale for any suggested changes and you will provide expert guidance and coaching to leaders and teams on how best to navigate the suggested changes.
Your role and impact:
You are skilled in continuous improvement and the stages of a project or review utilising methodologies and tools (Lean Six Sigma is what we use). You will be able to build strong relationships with all around you, work collaboratively and be an excellent communicator. You thrive on innovation, flexibility and resilience.
What you’ll bring:
You will be able to work effectively with others and ensure everyone feels valued across the project or review stages. You will provide data driven insights and recommendations, achieved by utilising your strong analytical skills, identifying themes, trends and associated risks. You will use your strong oral and written skills to be present information.
- Experience and knowledge of continuous improvement principles, methodologies and tools
- Evidence of working effectively as a collaborative and supportive team member.
- Experience analysing volumes of data and qualitative information with a view to identifying key areas of focus for continuous improvement.
This role is an opportunity to work in an engaging, passionate team, to engage with stakeholders from across the business and help what continuous improvement looks like at the NMC and ensure it is meaningful and purpose led.
