Join our Procurement team and play a key role in managing vital third-party relationships. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will oversee the entire supplier journey from onboarding and assessment to renewal or exit, ensuring everything runs smoothly and in line with our policies. You will track and report on all third-party activity, support strong supplier partnerships, and help maintain compliance across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact, work closely with senior stakeholders, and develop your expertise in procurement and supplier management.
Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Third Party Coordinator at Nottingham Building Society:
- Third Party Monitoring: Track and monitor all third-party activities including onboarding, assessments, due diligence, contract reviews, renewals, terminations, performance monitoring and risk management.
- Compliance Checks: Carry out regular checks such as updates for leavers or changes, supplier credit score reviews, and policy attestations.
- Reporting: Compile and deliver accurate reports for the Procurement team and relevant Committees.
- Procurement and Sourcing: Lead low-risk procurement processes from supplier identification through to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying, reporting, and mitigating third-party risks in collaboration with Third Party Managers.
- Performance Coordination: Coordinate reporting on supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs to ensure standards are met.
- Relationship Management: Support regular supplier performance and strategic business reviews with Relationship Owners in line with Procurement Policy.
About you:
- Knowledge and Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal guidance; confident in challenging senior stakeholders; methodical with strong attention to detail; process-oriented and focused on continuous improvement; highly organised and able to manage self and others effectively.
- Experience: Previous experience in a regulated environment with compliance to policy and process; understanding of risk and controls, particularly risks related to third-party engagement; proven ability to manage end-to-end processes involving multiple stakeholders; comfortable working with little direct supervision.
- Behaviours to Succeed: Detail-focused and process-driven mindset; customer-centric approach; adaptable and willing to work across different areas and specialisms; proactive in driving change directly or through influence.
- Qualifications and Training: Relevant qualifications or training in Procurement and Supply Chain (e.g., CIPS), Third Party Management, or Supplier Relationship Management would be advantageous.
