As a Business Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping products and driving meaningful change that improves experiences for our customers and colleagues. You will translate real business and customer needs into clear and valuable product features that create a genuine impact.
You will work closely with a supportive Product Owner and collaborate with an experienced Principal Analyst, giving you the opportunity to grow, influence product direction, and contribute to a strong product vision. You will take ownership of defining and managing product requirements and ensuring that every piece of work connects back to our strategic goals and delivers real value.
You will partner with delivery managers and cross-functional teams including engineers, designers and stakeholders to prioritise what matters most and ensure product and change initiatives are delivered smoothly and effectively. Beyond your day-to-day work, you will help shape our wider business architecture, strengthen our product practices, and support the development of value-driven and sustainable ways of working across the organisation. This is a role where your insight, curiosity and analytical strengths will have a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Translation: Convert business and customer needs into clear, prioritised product requirements and features.
- Needs Analysis: Elicit, analyse, and structure stakeholder and user needs into epics, features, and user stories.
- Product Strategy Support: Assist the Head of Product in shaping product vision, roadmaps, and backlogs aligned to strategic outcomes.
- Change Initiative Shaping: Support product definition for value-stream, platform, and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- Traceability & Value Tracking: Maintain full end-to-end traceability from business need to delivered value and benefits realisation.
- Product Artefact Management: Define and maintain key artefacts including value streams, service blueprints, process models, and product roadmaps.
- Cross-Functional Delivery Support: Collaborate with delivery managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders on prioritisation and sequencing.
- Insight & Evaluation: Provide data-driven insights, impact analysis, and continuous product performance evaluation to drive improvements.
About you:
- Product and Business Expertise: Strong understanding of product management, business analysis and core business architecture concepts.
- Analytical Capability: Skilled in eliciting and analysing needs, shaping clear requirements and applying structured problem solving.
- Value Based Prioritisation: Able to assess customer value, business impact and risk to prioritise effectively.
- Collaborative Working: Experienced partnering with Product Owners, delivery managers and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver products.
- Effective Communication: Clear written and verbal communication with confidence in influencing stakeholders and facilitating key sessions.
- Delivery Experience: Background in product or change environments, with hands-on involvement across the lifecycle and production of essential artefacts.
- Productive Behaviours: Customer focused, structured, curious, adaptable and accountable, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Learning:
Relevant qualifications or experience supported by training in product, business analysis or agile, with additional certifications desirable.
