We are seeking an experienced Commercial Civils Contracts Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused construction professional to oversee multiple civil engineering projects from contract award through to final account, ensuring successful commercial and operational delivery. Working across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for managing project performance, contractual compliance, client relationships, and commercial outcomes while leading site teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple civil engineering contracts simultaneously.
- Oversee project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
- Monitor project costs, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Review and administer NEC and JCT contracts.
- Lead project teams including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare project reports, forecasts, and commercial updates.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Support business development by assisting with tenders and client meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health.
