We’re looking for an expert leader who can combine deep technical knowledge with strong commercial awareness – guiding our clients, partners, and internal teams towards industry-defining solutions. Your Role- Reporting to the Head of Technical, you’ll lead the Fire Technical team to ensure our products and systems are the preferred choice in the UK construction market. You will: * Act as the go-to technical authority for fire-stopping and fire protection projects * Manage and develop your team, ensuring prompt and precise technical support * Provide expert design guidance to specifiers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders * Oversee Engineering Judgements and Assessments aligned with regulations, industry guidelines, and policy * Collaborate across Product Management, Commercial, and Marketing to maintain a compliant, world-leading product range * Keep our solutions at the cutting edge by maintaining knowledge of testing, certification, and regulatory changes * Ensure accuracy of standard details and our technical library of non-standard solutions * Represent in industry working groups, trade associations, and professional events What You Bring * Extensive experience in fire protection/fire-stopping within the construction industry * Fire resistance testing knowledge * A construction or fire engineering qualification * CAD literacy (AutoCAD essential) and ability to produce and adapt technical drawings * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Experience producing detailed technical reports and judgements * High IT proficiency (PowerPoint a key tool) * Ideally, experience with 3rd party product certification and IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection What We Offer * Competitive salary * 30 days annual leave + Bank Holidays * Company bonus scheme * Pension scheme (Aviva) * Westfield Health cashback scheme * Life assurance (4x annual salary) * Enhanced sick pay * Subsidised electric vehicle charging
