We are seeking an experienced Lead Passive Fire Surveyor to join our growing team, based in Essex with hybrid working available. This is a senior role for a knowledgeable professional with strong technical expertise in compartmentation surveys and fire door inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver passive fire surveys across residential, commercial, and public sector properties
- Conduct detailed inspections of fire doors, fire stopping, and compartmentation works
- Produce clear, accurate survey reports with remedial recommendations
- Manage survey programmes, prioritise workloads, and support project delivery
- Provide technical guidance to clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensure works comply with current fire safety legislation and industry standards
- Mentor junior surveyors and uphold quality standards across the team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in passive fire surveying, including both compartmentation and fire doors
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practice
- Experience producing technical reports and managing client relationships
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence
