We are currently looking for a highly skilled and committed individual to primarily teach the subject of photography to our A Level students. The successful candidate will have expertise in differing aspects of photography (e.g. Traditional and/or digital techniques) and ideally hold a broader skillset with experience and interests in topics such as moving image, film making, media disciplines, screen industries, and film studies.
The role will initially deliver the creative discipline of photography, with potential for growth and adaptation to the changing interests of our learners. A flexible interest in creative skill sets is highly desirable. The postholder will assist the Cluster Leader in the delivery of courses, ensuring a high quality of teaching and learning for students and effective student achievement and progression.
You must be able to inspire and enthuse students about the subject, making it interesting, lively, and accessible to all through your innovative delivery of the curriculum. The ideal candidate will also have a creative art and design background and possess an Honours degree (or equivalent) or exempting professional experience, along with a professional portfolio of work.
