The Norman Church of England Primary School, part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Midday Supervisor. This role involves working 9.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, from 11.30am to 1.15pm. The position is available as soon as possible.

About You

  • Have experience of working in a busy environment with children.
  • Have experience organising and running lunchtime activities.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious, and serious about improving children’s life chances through education.
  • Be highly organised, conscientious, and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload.
  • Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents, and pupils.
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use their initiative.
  • Be able to work flexibly and professionally.

About Role

The purpose of this role is to help support the safe and efficient running of lunchtimes, including helping to organise and utilise resources at lunchtime, supporting and running activities for children to engage with, and providing first aid where required.
