The Room Attendant will ensure that all areas within the hotel are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality cleaning service in public areas of the hotel.
  • Follow the priority of room cleaning.
  • Clean rooms and public areas according to the procedures and policies set by the hotel.
  • Keep room attendants’ trolleys neat, clean, and tidy.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
  • Report any loss or damage to linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment to the supervisor.
  • Use the right cleaning chemicals on all surfaces as per standards.
  • Check the vacuum cleaner and equipment daily.
  • Ensure service area is well stocked with necessary products and cleaned always.
  • Report issues such as equipment and light bulb damage promptly to supervisor or department manager for immediate action.
  • Report lost property found in rooms and adhere to Lost and Found policy.
  • Perform regular deep cleaning of all areas of the hotel as instructed.
  • Perform any additional tasks required as per business needs.
  • Perform all duties with care toward guests, always ensuring utmost guest satisfaction.
  • Interact with guests in a caring, respectful, and positive manner.
  • Always follow H&S and Standard Operating Procedures.
