THE ROLE - HEAD OF FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Head of Food & Beverage is the operational and cultural leader of the hotel's Food & Beverage offering.

As the visible face of F&B, this role is expected to spend significant time on the floor, acting as lead host, building guest relationships, leading service standards and driving exceptional experiences across all outlets and events.

Combining hands-on operational leadership with strong commercial acumen, the role is accountable for guest satisfaction, team performance, revenue growth and overall F&B success.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Operations & Guest Experience
  • Be the visible face of F&B across all outlets, leading from the floor and driving exceptional guest experience
  • Act as the Hotel's lead host, building strong relationships with guests, VIPs, members and corporate clients
  • Ensure consistently high standard of service, food,, beverage, presentation and atmosphere across all outlets
  • Lead service during peak trading periods, special events and VIP visits
  • Resolve guest feedback promptly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, food hygene, licensing and brand standards
  • Leadership & People
  • Inspire a high-performing, guest-focused culture thorugh visible, hands-on leadership presence
  • Coach and develop managers to lead confidently from the floor
  • Ovrsee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and succession planning
  • Ensure effective workforce planning and compliance with employment legislation and P&D policies
  • Financial Performance
  • Own the Food & Beverage P&L and deliver agreed financial targets
  • Control labour, food and beverage costs, stock and wastage
  • Parner with Finance and Procurement to maximise profitability and operational efficency
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with Kitchen, Rooms divisions, Sales & Marketing, Revenue, Finance and People & Development
  • Represent Good & Beverage within the Senior Leadership Team
  • Act as an ambassador for the Hotel and its brand
