Overview Of Role
The Groups, Meetings & Events Manager is responsible for driving revenue and delivery excellence of bespoke groups, catering and banqueting business for the hotel. Ensuring that each event is planned and executed to deliver an exceptional guest experience, the GM&E Manager is responsible for maximising revenue opportunities and being the lead at fostering long-term client relationships. This role requires strong knowledge and understanding of all different segments of Sales and Events, working collaboratively alongside Proactive Sales and Hilton Worldwide Sales. As the Senior leader, this role will inspire and lead a dynamic GM&E team and oversees all aspects of the team’s development, ensuring the standards of the hotel are upheld and support where additional training needs are required.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Groups, Meeting & Events Manager are summarised below, however the list is not exhaustive:
- Monitor conversion and drive the team to maintain a high conversion rate from each team member.
- Actively participate in the GM&E sales process by challenging conversion rates and declined business while reviewing the sales pipeline to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage Groups, Meetings and Events budgets, forecasts, and revenue targets.
- Oversee the customisation of group and event experiences, ensuring attention to detail and alignment with guest preferences and brand standards.
- Lead and organise weekly BEO & Group meetings with kitchen and operations team.
- Attend relevant meetings and actively contribute to daily DD call.
- As needed, prepare and attend PM on behalf of the department.
- Undertakes any other reasonable tasks or responsibilities as directed by the DOSM, Commercial Director or General Manager.
