About The Role - Director Of Sales
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the key purpose of this role is to focus on Consortia partnerships to achieve annual budgeted revenue goals and ADR targets for this segment. The candidate will maximize all revenue opportunities in the areas of Consortia travel and will interact frequently with guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. In this role the candidate will also manage the proactive Sales colleagues in consultation with the Commercial Director.
The Director of Sales will perform the following tasks to the highest standards (the list is indicative and not exhaustive; the role will evolve in line with business priorities):
- Lead and manage the Consortia sales segment, driving performance against agreed revenue targets
- Evaluate existing Consortia partnerships and identify new partnership opportunities to support annual growth
- Develop and execute annual Consortia offers and activation calendars
- Manage and coach the Proactive Sales Team, including performance management, weekly 1:1s and action planning
- Build strong relationships with Hilton HWS luxury leisure sales teams and key external partners
- Represent the hotel at Consortia tradeshows, sales missions and sales trips, delivering post-trip analysis and reporting
- Ensure accurate Salesforce data management, reporting and conversion of incoming enquiries
