The Role

We’re looking for a commercially-minded Sales & Events Manager to drive revenue, build relationships, and deliver standout events at The NICI Newquay. You will play a central role in positioning the hotel as a go-to destination for weddings, corporate events, and lifestyle experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales strategy for events, weddings, group bookings, and corporate partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and partners
  • Work closely with Operations, F&B, and Marketing to ensure flawless event execution
  • Develop innovative event concepts aligned with The NICI brand
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting for the events department
  • Represent The NICI Newquay at trade shows, networking events, and in-market initiatives

About You

  • Experience in hospitality sales, events management, or luxury hotel pre-opening sales
  • Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for creating unique, memorable experiences for clients and guests
