Following the huge success of The Nici Bournemouth, we’re bringing our signature laid-back luxury energy to the Cornish coast. The NICI Newquay, opening in 2026, will redefine seaside hospitality, offering stunning ocean views, contemporary design, a vibrant restaurant and bar scene, indulgent spa and leisure facilities, and a guest experience like no other. This is more than a hotel opening, it’s the creation of a destination.

The Role: As Financial Controller, you will oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring strong financial governance while supporting commercial decision‑making across the business. Working closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial success of this flagship opening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for hotel finance operations, reporting, and controls
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Oversee cash flow, payroll, and balance sheet management
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and compliance

About You

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in hospitality
