The Role We are looking for a reliable and guest-focused
Night Porter to join our team.
As the face of the hotel overnight, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues, and property while delivering exceptional customer service.
You will support the Night Manager with the smooth running of the hotel, assist guests with their requests, and carry out a range of operational tasks to ensure the hotel is ready for the day ahead.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests throughout the night with a friendly and professional approach.
- Carry out regular security patrols of the hotel and report any issues promptly.
- Support with guest arrivals, departures, and luggage assistance where required.
- Set up meeting rooms and public areas as requested.
- Complete overnight cleaning and preparation tasks to ensure the hotel is ready for the morning.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues where possible.
- Assist with emergency procedures and ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Work closely with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
About You
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
