The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bars Manager to lead our bar operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences in Bournemouth. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our bars, leading and developing the team, driving service standards, and ensuring our beverage offering reflects the luxury experience our guests expect. Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will help maximise revenue while maintaining the highest levels of quality and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of all bar outlets.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the bar team to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure consistently high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and minimise wastage.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance management of the team.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
- Work closely with the Restaurant, Events, and Kitchen teams to deliver seamless service.
About You
- Previous management experience within a busy bar or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Commercially aware with strong organisational skills.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
