The Role
As Night Manager, you will be the most senior representative on duty overnight, responsible for managing the hotel’s operations, supporting the night team, and ensuring a seamless guest experience at all times. You will combine operational oversight with hands-on guest service, ensuring that every aspect of the hotel continues to run efficiently and professionally throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations during night shifts, ensuring service standards are consistently maintained
- Act as the main point of contact for guests, handling queries, requests, and any issues with professionalism and discretion
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property through regular checks and adherence to procedures
- Supervise and support the night team, including reception and night porters
- Complete night audit procedures, reporting, and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and respond to any incidents or emergencies, following appropriate protocols
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of public areas
- Liaise with department heads regarding any operational matters arising overnight
