Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity? The Nicholas Hammond Academy are looking to appoint an Admissions & Attendance Officer. We are looking for an individual who has excellent critical thinking skills and strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills who is self-motivated and has a genuine passion and a belief in the potential of every pupil. You will relish the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
The Admissions and Attendance Officer will manage the operation of legal registration and lesson registration via the academy's BROMCOM System, monitor and analyse attendance data and take the lead in the management of academy admissions. The successful applicant will undertake an enhanced DBS criminal record check, and online searches will be carried out in line with KCSIE update 2025. Responsibilities- Manage the operation of legal registration and lesson registration via the academy's BROMCOM System.
- Monitor and analyse attendance data and take the lead in the management of academy admissions.
- Support and liaise with parents and external agencies to improve attendance and student outcomes.
- Multi-task and demonstrate good personal organisation and administration skills.
- At least 3 years' experience of working with young people in a secondary school.
- Experience of improving attendance and implementing strategies to support students.
- Experience of liaising with parents and external agencies.
- Good academic standard of general education.
