Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Processing weekly, monthly, and annual payrolls accurately and on time
- Maintaining and updating payroll records for new starters, leavers, and changes to salaries or benefits
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, PAYE, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions
- Responding to payroll queries promptly and professionally
- Assisting with payroll audits, reporting, and year‑end statutory submissions
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a payroll role
- Solid understanding of payroll processes and compliance
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Clear communication skills
- Confident using payroll software (Brightpay experience is a bonus, but similar systems are fine)
