Responsibilities
- Preparing service charge accounts for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties
- Ensuring all accounts comply with current legislation and industry guidelines, including RICS
- Liaising with property managers, clients, and auditors to resolve queries
- Assisting with year‑end processes and audit requirements
- Reviewing expenditure and ensuring costs are correctly allocated
- Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting junior team members as needed
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Previous experience preparing service charge accounts, such as Service Charge Accountant, Property Accountant, or Client Accountant
- Strong understanding of service charge legislation and reporting requirements
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
