Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Completing corporation tax returns and computations
  • Handling personal tax returns
  • Managing bookkeeping and VAT returns as needed
  • Liaising directly with clients, answering queries, and providing practical advice
  • Assisting with ad hoc assignments and supporting junior team members

What you will need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar UK public practice role (such as Accountant, Accounts Senior, Client Manager, or Practice Accountant)
  • Strong working knowledge of statutory accounts preparation across multiple entity types
  • Confidence in both personal and corporate tax compliance
  • Comfortable with bookkeeping and VAT work
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal directly with clients
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines independently
