Step into a value-add role where you’ll shape how a growing legal services group reports across multiple entities, currencies and regulatory frameworks. This is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and build a best-in-class suite of financial, management and regulatory reports - with the potential for the role to go permanent down the line.
This 4–6 month day-rate contract (outside IR35) offers the chance to transition to hybrid working (2 days WFH) and contribute to high-impact projects from day one in a business undergoing rapid growth and acquisition.
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and rolling out comprehensive financial statements across multiple entities, currencies and accounting bases
- Creating and deploying new KPI dashboards and management reports
- Establishing and implementing regulatory and trade reporting tools
- Designing, testing, implementing, integrating and documenting these reporting tools meticulously
- Identifying and resolving underlying data issues to improve accuracy
- Collaborating with the finance team to strengthen financial resources and controls
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Reporting Accountant / Financial Reporting Accountant / Financial Reporting Analyst / Finance Analyst / FP&A Analyst / Management Accountant / Financial Controller
- Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA or QBE
- Advanced Excel abilities including lookups, pivot tables, if statements etc.
- A structured, methodical approach to analysis and problem-solving
- You enjoy making improvements and adding value
