Reporting to the People Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a varied and high-volume portfolio of ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, sickness absence, and performance issues.
  • Providing clear, practical and risk-aware guidance to managers in line with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Supporting HR Business Partners on cyclical people activities such as performance management, engagement initiatives, and organisational change programmes.
  • Preparing case documentation, investigation reports, and outcome letters.
  • Identifying trends within ER cases and providing recommendations to mitigate risk and improve people processes.
  • Contributing to HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and policy development.
  • Building strong, effective working relationships across the business.

You will need:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification
  • Extensive experience managing a complex and high-volume ER caseload within a professional services or similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and coach managers.
  • A calm, pragmatic approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, autonomously, and at pace.
