Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering accurate and timely payrolls for a portfolio of clients to agreed deadlines
- Inputting payroll data, running audit and validation checks, and interfacing with General Ledger and pension systems
- Monitoring and processing statutory payments such as SSP and SMP
- Managing year-end payroll reporting and changes to time and attendance systems
- Administering the end-to-end payroll process, including auto enrolment compliance
- Acting as first line support for pay queries and providing trusted advice to clients
- Peer checking payrolls and collaborating with the wider payroll hub
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and industry changes through independent research
