Responsibilities
- Process weekly, monthly, and annual payrolls accurately and on time
- Maintain and update payroll records for new starters, leavers, and changes to salaries or benefits
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, PAYE, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions
- Respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally
- Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and year-end statutory submissions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a payroll role (such as Payroll Administrator, Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk, or similar)
- Solid understanding of payroll processes and compliance
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Clear communication skills
- Confident using payroll software (Brightpay experience is a bonus, but similar systems are fine)
