Job Description

Looking for a broad interim role where you can truly add value? This 6-month interim opportunity gives you the chance to step into a large organisation in the education sector, offering the flexibility of hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 from home) and the scope to shape the remit around your strengths.Why consider this role?

Reporting to the Group FC, you will be responsible for:

  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Delivering financial accounting and reporting
  • Driving finance process improvements and supporting change projects
  • Potentially leading year-end close

What you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Interim Financial Controller / Financial Controller / Finance Director / Finance Manager / FP&A Manager
  • To be a fully qualified accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence managing complex data sets
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector, ideally within education or local government
  • To be adaptable and thrive with variety, navigating ambiguity with ease
