Looking for a Group Financial Accountant role where you can make a real impact, grow in terms of exposure, and never have the same day twice? Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of technical financial accounting, audit, investor reporting, and supporting month-end delivery
  • Managing cashflow forecasting and reporting
  • Leading audit reporting requirements, preparing schedules, and responding to audit queries
  • Handling six sets of accounts in a three-day month-end close, requiring strong planning and organisation
  • Preparing and tidying balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with IFRS
  • Preparing detailed investor reporting packs, including stock, sales analysis, and commercial insights
  • Producing technical ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders
  • Leading external audit conversations after initial orientation
  • Supporting the delivery of financial management accounts, especially investor-facing reports
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including back-end preparation, reconciliations, and consolidated outputs
  • Navigating multiple finance systems and using advanced Excel skills to merge and analyse data
  • Acting as a trusted partner to the Group Financial Controller and supporting the wider finance team

What you will need:

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification
  • Experience working in a Financial Accountant, Group Financial Accountant, Management Accountant
  • Strong technical grounding in audit, tax, IFRS, and balance sheet controls
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Resilient, positive, and proactive approach - comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working at pace
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
