This Accounts Receivable Clerk position puts you at the centre of a retail manufacturer’s finance team, based at their eco-friendly site. You’ll be the go-to for all things Accounts Receivable, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week, or in the office every day if that’s your preference. This role is offered on a 9-month fixed-term contract basis.
Reporting to the AR Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Chasing outstanding invoices by phone and email
- Managing the full accounts receivable process, ensuring all billing is accurate and reconciled
- Handling credit control and applying robust control processes
- Monitoring and managing costs related to accounts receivable
- Using Excel to track, analyse, and report on accounts receivable activity
What you will need:
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable, sales ledger, or credit control role
- Strong understanding of AR processes and credit control
- Confident communicator, comfortable picking up the phone and sending follow-ups
- Solid Excel skills
- Experience working with wholesale customers is desirable but not essential
