Finance Director Part Time

Looking for a Finance Director role with purpose – but on a part-time basis? A respected and growing charity that delivers life-changing support across the South Coast is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Director to lead the organisation’s finance function over 3 or 4 days per week. This role is purely finance-focused, offering the opportunity to make a strategic impact within a values-driven team, while maintaining a balance that suits your lifestyle.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the financial strategy, planning and risk management across the organisation
• Producing timely, accurate financial reports for the CEO, Board and stakeholders
• Overseeing financial operations, including audit, compliance and statutory reporting
• Managing and developing a finance team, ensuring continuous improvement
• Ensuring robust financial controls and systems are in place
• Monitoring budgets, forecasts and cashflow
• Acting as the lead contact for external auditors and financial partners

What you will need:

• To be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) 
• Experience operating at a senior/board level in a strategic finance leadership role
• Experience working in similar roles, such as Finance Director / Head of Finance / Financial Controller / Finance Manager
• A collaborative, people-focused approach with strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong technical knowledge with a proactive and detail-driven approach
• Charity / not-for-profit sector experience is desirable but not essential

• £80,000-£90,000 per annum full-time equivalent (salary pro rata)
